Why I read...
The main reason that I read is because I love it. Reading can present to you absolutely anything. Whether it's a dystopian world on a planet we've never heard of, or the budding of a romance between two some-what perfect characters. The posibilities are endless, really, when it comes to reading, and I love that aspect about it. Another reason I read is because it gives me something to talk about with other people. Sitting down and having a conversation over one of your favorite books, or even one you hate, can open an endless conversation between two people. One of my favorite things about reading books is when they get turned into movies. It is so interesting to me to see how the directors and producers can turn a book into a major motion picture. The joy of seeing a movie that's based off of one of your favorite books can be overwhelming.
Reading is something that we can't escape. Either you like reading or you despise it. I'm proud to say that I love reading because of it's endless possibilities, the picture's it creates in your heads, and the message it leaves with readers. You should never have an excuse not to read. Pick up a book, open it's cover, and jump in.
I like how you point out the social aspects of books--the conversations and arguments they start as well as the role of films, which makes the story more social, too.
